My Older Sister

Ages ago my older sister and I decided to exchange ATCs... It took a while untill my sister managed to find the time to make me an ATC . A year later my ideas for her ATC has come to an action (We're a slow family...).

When I was a little girl, my sister, who's 9 years older than me, got the favorite room in the house, the one down stairs. I used to go down there in the middle of the night (probablly 7pm..) to get in bed with her and listen to her stories.
About a year ago my sister told my something that touched my heart like nothing else ever did before. She said:"I can still here your tiny steps down my stairs at night".

So here it is, for my beloved sister, a memory on a card....

Children's Song ATC

This ATC was especially made for a partner on Swap-Bot who said she's collecting Children's books in different languages.

I chose a famous Israeli children's song Called "Tears Come Alone", sang by a boy telling of the girl he likes.

He gave her an apple, and a big nice flower, but she ate the apple, threw the flower on the ground and went off playing with another boy....

The kids are actually a rubber stamp that a very tallented woman named Kris made for my sister on a Swap-Bot swap... I loved it...

Aboriginal Art Inspired ATC swap

On Swap-Bot.
Such a joy... I just love those dots....
I have three Aboriginal prints I took from an old calander I braught from Australia about 8 years ago (eight???), on my living room wall.

Now I have my own works! :)

African Notebook

I participated in a swap on Swap-Bot, where I had to send my partner a package of candies and a handmade surprise related to things they wrote on their profile.

My partnet has this great love for Africa, so I decided to make her an African notebook, using my beloved old National Geogrephic magazines.

Cats & Kittens Postcards swap

For a while I used the back of my paper block as a surface to work on. I suddenly discovered that it looks really cool. I used a plastic bag to draw the cat on and put it all together...

Ok, so I like this one too... this one's dutch.
Just colored the card, wrote on it with a pen and stamped it with my handmade foam stamp...
